Home Improvements You Could Make in Your Minecraft World

I saw a pretty epic guide to building a house in survival, and thought I’d give a similar concept a shot, but I’m going to make it a good deal more artsy. We start with a basic outline of logs.

The spruce helps to break it up.

I like the groove, it adds depth.

Outer stairs, adding support and depth.

A frame! 😀

Upside-down stairs for a little more depth.

A simple roof.

Looks pretty good.

Detail time. Fence adds an interesting look to the build.

Inverted cobblestone stair for depth.

Door on the inside of the block adds some more depth.

Torches and buttons all around! The torches keep the mobs at bay while the buttons kind of look like iron studs holding the logs in place.

Inverted stairs inside too!

Time for a prettier roof!

Designs can fit in the glass now. Breaks it up a bit.

I like sagging the center of the roof inward. Looks kind of elvish to me.

Time for a second story!

Re-arranging logs for the next story + a shop.

Same support as for the regular roof.

But we build a wall on top

And bring the pattern up. (Note the upside-down oak stairs, they add depth!)

Upside-down all around!

A couple of cool little overhangs to break up the square shape of the build.

Another high arch. I love how these look, plus they add a third story worth of space!

Chimneys are cool.

Adding in some bushes!

Redesign of the roof and chimney. (the cap is walls not slabs.)

A little market stall on the side.

Now it’s a shop!

Please remember to sign your builds! It’s really helpful on servers. I like knowing who built what cool stuff.

I’m going for the overgrown look.
