Pronax out of Fnatic

The Swedish Fnatic has experienced their first change roster since June 2014 with the departure of Markus “pronax” Wallsten. After 2 years of in game leading for the Swedish roster, Pronax left leaving Robin “flusha” Rönnquist to step in as temporary caller with pronax’s replacement to take over once settled.

Pronax will be replaced by ex-G2 Dennis, who has already played with the line-up as a stand-in previously. G2 on the other hand picked ex-dignitas player Aizy. This news comes as a big surprise in the scene. A few months ago, Fnatic was the world’s best team, solid and unbreakable as rock. But the team recently started to show some weaknesses and is now trying to get fresh air. Leaving was Pronax’s decision, and he promised he won’t be going too far.

Cloud 9 wins the iBP cup

iBUYPOWER’s Invitational was held this weekend. The tournament, organized by iBP and located in Ohio, USA featured a nice $100,000 prizepool. This tournament was played by mostly NA Teams, with the exception of Luminosity (Brazil) and Renegades (Australia). In the end Cloud9 managed to come out on top. Sean Gares’ team managed to beat Liquid 2-1 in a tense final match.
