The Insomnia series attracts tens of thousands of gamers from across the UK to compete in the UK’s most competitive eSports tournaments and see the best games first, while millions watch events unfold online at Twitch.tv. The first Insomnia festival at the Ricoh Arena takes place over Easter Bank Holiday weekend, Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21 2014.

Insomnia will take over the Ricoh Arena to give visitors the chance to sample new games, watch live product demonstrations, buy the latest products and merchandise or watch the eSports tournaments unfold.

With over 30 exhibitors including large companies such as the LAN veteran company, Overclockers, the game studio, Jagex, and even Xbox One, you’re sure to be able to waste hours on end in the exhibition hall alone.

The main stage is also set to be a spectacle however, we do not know what it will even remotely look like due to i51 being the first time the Insomnia LAN has been held at the Ricoh Arena. We’ll just have to wait and see.

If you’re a Minecraft fan, Multiplay is bringing back the features that entertained Minecraft fans of all ages from across the country and beyond at Insomnia49. The Minecraft Zone will offer free-to-enter tournaments for the most popular gametypes, panel talks and presentations in the dedicated 650 seat auditorium, with an exhibition featuring examples from the best and brightest of the community, as well as the chance to purchase official Minecraft merchandise from J!nx. Insomnia51 will play host to a variety of guests including:
