Game Show League to Host League and LAN Finals With $22,000 Prize Pool

Game Show Studio, otherwise known as Game Show League/GSL, has announced that it will be hosting its own league with LAN finals and a $22,000 prize pool.

The LAN finals will take place from October 2-5 at the Crocus Expo in Moscow, at annual gaming and computer exhibition IgroMir.

Four teams will be taking part in the event, three from Europe, who will have qualified via an online league, and one from the United States, who will be invited by Game Show.

The online stage of the event will be played from August 22 to September 19, with 10 European teams facing off in a round-robin stage to determine which three will attend the event in Moscow.

The first six teams that will play in the Game Show League have already been determined and are as follows:

HellRaisers
Natus Vincere
Virtus.pro
Titan
fnatic
LDLC

The remaining four participants should be revealed shortly.

The LAN finals will feature a $22,000 prize pool, with an extra $8,000 been given to the teams to help cover travel costs to Russia. The prize distribution between the top four teams is as follows:

1. $12,000
2. $5,000
3. $3,000
4. $2,000
