Predictions:

Group A

NiP have recently stopped playing in ESEA to focus on other leagues and practice, most likely prep for this event, I would expect NiP to beat ALTERNATE and Titan in the groups, but finish second behind LDLC. LDLC have been looking increasingly strong in recent form especially since the new roster has begun to gel and work together. Third place will be an interesting battle between ALTERNATE and Titan, I would tip Titan to take it, however ALTERNATE have looked strong in the online qualifiers.

Group B

fnatic will top the group, they should be able to beat dignitas. dignitas will come second and once again we’re looking at an interesting third place battle, this time between 3DMAX and CPH Wolves. We’ve not seen a lot of action between the two teams especially against each other. However, I would think CPH Wolves will win this for the simple fact that CPH Wolves have had better recent wins and have been a solid team for some time now.

Finals

If my predictions are correct up to now I would expect to see NiP play fnatic and LDLC play dignitas. These are close and should be very entertaining games. If I were to put a bet on these games I would go with fnatic and LDLC, however it’s anyones game from here, and who knows, it’s LAN anything can happen. Then we would see a final between fnatic and LDLC which again, would be a great game to watch and in my opinion fnatic would win. They’ve definitely seemed the best team online but whether that would translate to LAN play I can’t say.
