Recently Valve have registered the Half Life 3 trademark along with the Half Life logo. This has come about after the recent announcement of the Linux based Steam OS and the Steam controller. Our guess, at BaconCape, is that HL3 will be released on the new Steam Box along with Team Fortress 3, Left 4 Dead 3 and Portal 3. Here’s the proof that Half Life 3 has been confirmed and registered as a trade mark by Valve:
