Omnia LAN Contest Offers All CoD:AW Gamers The Chance To Win £7K Prize Pot

Am2Pro, the UK’s upcoming LAN event organiser and streaming organisation, has today announced that its Omnia Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare event taking place in Blackpool on the 4th and 5th July 2015 is open to gamers of all abilities. The event will see individual gamers and eSport’s teams compete in several ‘high intensity’ rounds, played on Xbox One’s, in order to win a minimum £7k prize fund.

Following the success of its previous event earlier in the year, which had over 60 teams competing, Am2Pro is enhancing this summer’s contest by enabling up to 2000 competitors to join in the battle for first prize. Hosted at the Norbreck Castle Hotel, competitors and spectators can take part in a variety of contests, meet like-minded gamers and even try out the products available on display by the event sponsors, including Astro Gaming.

In addition to attending the event itself, the Omnia event will be broadcast via the Am2Pro Twitch TV stream which has a vastly growing audience of gamers.

Carl Moore, managing director Am2Pro said, “The interest in multiplayer gaming is evident. Our events enable amateur gamers to compete alongside pro-gamers and are becoming hugely popular.  The rush of beating a professional is second to none and knowing that those hours of gaming at home, could potentially win you a lot of money is a great bonus! Those that aren’t ready to step up to being in the game, can come along and see others in action, pick up some techniques and maybe we can convince them to join in a future LAN event.”

Competitors simply need to bring their own Xbox One compatible wired headsets, wired controller, a copy of the game and their skill and determination to go hard against the enemy!
