ESL has partnered with ASUS ROG and Nivdia to bring the best gaming technology and hardware to the world’s largest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event. Players participating in ESL One Cologne this weekend can look forward to playing on the newest, most advanced gaming gear provided by two leading manufacturers. All PCs for the players are powered by ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 Graphic Cards and ASUS ROG PG248Q ultra-fast 180Hz Gaming Monitors with NVIDIA G-Sync technology.

We partnered up with ESL and ASUS to lower the technical hurdles to an absolute minimum and let true player skill decide the outcome of this US$1,000,000 esports event” said James Grunke, Head of Global eSports at Nvidia. “We are providing the world’s most advanced GPU technology in combination with the world’s fastest brand new 180Hz G-Sync monitor, both manufactured by ASUS, to the world’s best players. We simply can’t wait for the weekend to begin.“

We are happy to once again be able to support the biggest CS:GO tournament in the world this year,” said Thomas Pannenbecker, ASUS Country Head in Germany for the Open Platform division. “This year we will once more offer a lot of great activities for the fans at ESL One Cologne, and for everyone who watches the live stream online. We will also provide the official gaming LCD for the event: the brand new ROG Swift PG248Q, which supports 1 ms response time, and 180 Hz (OC) refresh rate, making it perfect for competitive online games like CS:GO.”
