$250,000 ROG MASTERS Announced

The ROG sub-brand of ASUS has announced a $250,000 tournament series.

The tournament will run from June to November and will encompass 30 countries worldwide in four different stages catering to both up-and-coming teams and professional teams.

The three major regions will be APAC (Asia Pacific), EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and the Americas. Each region will feature an open qualifier, a regional qualifier and regional finals. China will feature its own qualifying circuit with an open stage and national finals.

The top six teams, two from APAC and EMEA, one from the Americas and one from China will play at the grand finals for the title of ROG MASTERS Champions.

Phase 1: Open Qualifiers

APAC (Asia Pacific)

  • 11 Open Country Qualifiers for Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, South Asia (including India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka)
  • 1 Open Regional Qualifier
  • 12 teams advance to phase 2

EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)

  • 10 Open Country Qualifier for Germany, France, Poland, Russia, Spain, Nordic, UK, UAE, Romania, Benelux
  • 1 Open Regional Qualifier (2 slots available)
  • 12 teams advance to phase 2

AMERICA

  • 6 Open Country Qualifier for USA, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Chile
  • 1 Open Regional Qualifier (2 slots available)
  • 8 teams advance to phase 2

CHINA

  • 1 Chinese CS:GO team will qualify through a selected tournament

Phase 2: Regional Qualifiers

APAC (Asia Pacific) 

  • 12 teams, winner advances to phase 3

EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)

  • 12 teams, winner advances to phase 3

AMERICAS

  • 8 teams, winner advances to phase 3

Phase 3: Regional Finals

APAC (Asia Pacific) 

  • 8 teams (Regional Qualifier winner + seven invited teams)
  • 2 teams advance to the Grand Finals

EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)

  • 8 teams (Regional Qualifier winner + seven invited teams)
  • 2 teams advance to the Grand Finals

AMERICAS

  • 4 teams (Regional Qualifier winner + three invited teams)
  • Winner advances to the Grand Finals

CHINA

  • 4 teams (Open Qualifier winner + three invited teams)
  • Winner advances to the Grand Finals

Phase 4: Grand Finals

  • Dates and location to be announced
