MURI will be available on PC this winter holidays. Muri is a DOS-like platform shooter with 16-color EGA graphics and PC speaker sound. Inspired by the games of its time, Muri delivers an authentic ’80s experience, with the focus often changing between run-and-gun action and more tactical combat.
Daniel Remar, creator of MURI said: “The story is a mix of bizarre, serious, and cheesy. After the colonization of Mars, a team of scientists design an armor suit of cataclysmic power, sparking a conflict between several factions. When Mars suddenly vanishes, one woman sets out to discover the fate of humanity.
“For those who find Muri too archaic, an optional mode makes the game move much more smoothly. With four chapters and difficulties, and plenty of secrets, I hope gamers both young and old will enjoy it!”
Daniel Remar is one of the most prominent solo game developers with titles like Iji, Hero Core and many more. Also MURI was made completely by Daniel, while working at Ludosity.
Ludosity is a game studio situated in Sweden. Previous titles include Ittle Dew, Magicka: WotST, Bob Came In Pieces and many more.
