Registration for Gadget Show Live Professional is now open at gadgetshowpro.com. Taking place at the NEC on Tuesday 8 April, Gadget Show Professional is the premier gadget and technology preview event for the trade, with exclusive UK first looks on hundreds of products. 6,000 industry professionals are expected to attend, an increase of around 20 per cent on 2013.

As the one-day curtain-raiser to the five-day Gadget Show Live consumer event, Gadget Show Professional is a unique opportunity for the trade to see, try and buy products in a business-focused environment before the doors are thrown open to the general public.

Over 250 suppliers will be displaying the very latest in tech gadgetry, including headline sponsor Microsoft, and JVC, Citroen, Pioneer, Fitbit and Garmin. There are also a number of specialist product areas within the show, including the Game Zone and Gadget Imaging Zone, allowing visitors with very precise interests to find relevant products quickly and easily.

Gadget Show Live Professional 2014 will host the launch of the British Inventors Project – home to a hand-picked selection of futuristic products from British innovators, none of which is yet available on the market. Ground breaking prototypes and design concepts will also be showcased in the Future Tech Zone, where next-gen technology will be sourced from the very best inventors both at home and abroad.

“2014 is already proving to be an exciting year for consumer technology,” said event director Sally Bent. “Anticipation and consumer demand is at an all-time high for wearable tech, for example, which will be just one of a wide range of genres well represented at the show this April. For anyone working in technology-related industries, a trip to Gadget Show Professional this spring is an unmissable date for the diary. As they say, ‘miss it, miss out’. It really is the only way to stay ahead of the curve and keep up to date with product launches planned for this year and way in to the future.”

Entry to the show is free to pre-registered attendees; on-the-door tickets cost £15 per person.
