British trade body Ukie arrive in San Francisco today to set up the biggest ever UK stand at GDC, to showcase the best of British games talent. Ukie is bringing more than 40 businesses to meet and demo their games on the official UK industry stand, giving them discounted, hassle free exhibitor space and marketing support at the Expo.

Ukie is the accredited trade body for UK trade and investment (UKTI) for GDC SF, GameConnection SF, and Gamescom in Cologne, and have saved UK games businesses who are attending GDC SF this year over £50,000 by securing grants from the UKTI.

The UK industry stand highlights include:

• The Great British VIP Drinks reception hosted by UKTI & Ukie and sponsored by Multiplay at the British Consulate.
• UKTI-hosted hospitality area for exhibitors and guests including catering and refreshments all day.
• Publisher, platform and developer one to one sessions running throughout the conference organised by Ukie and UKTI.
• An exclusive UK industry app featuring a comprehensive list of all UK businesses present on the stand and Ukie members across the UK.
