French Top Tier Lineup Changes – Full Run Down

Comment

After recent reports of ScreaM contemplating retirement the French scene has been up in arms about who will be teaming with who.

Today ahead of the recent FACEIT Season 2 the teams have been announced, even if these are mix teams for FACEIT they are huge hints at possible stable lineups in the future.

apEX commented on Titans website:

“It’s with a great pleasure and a lot of enthusiasm that I join Titan today.”

“Having previously already played with all members of this team, I am confident about our ability to face this new challenge.”

LDLC had this to say about their players being poached:

“We are reeling from this incomprehensible decision by our players who we have supported so much. Another offer seduced three of our players even before LDLC tried to renegotiate the terms of the next season’s contracts.” said LDLC’s manager Stéphan Euthine in the statement at LDLC.com.

“While the future seemed full of promise of partnerships with companies that would have allowed us to ramp up, we now have to face this choice that paralyzes us. We once again find that the French scene shows a lack of maturity on the job of a pro gamer.”

BST, who will take on Ninjas in Pyjamas in their first FACEIT League game, will take part in the tournament with the following lineup:

Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom
Gordon “Sf” Giry
Robin “GMX” Stahmer
Joey “fxy0” Schlosser
Kevin “Uzzziii” Vernel

Titan will see a change in lineup too:

Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans
Dan “apEX” Madesclaire
Hovik “KQLY” Tovmassian
Kenny “kennyS” Schrub
Mathieu “Maniac” Quiquerez

The new team, Mercenary, formed by SmithZz, NBK and shox will be as follows:

Richard “shox” Papillon
Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux
Nathan “NBK” Schmitt
Vincent “Happy” Cervoni
Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey
