EA has announced that the Battlefield 4 Open Beta will launch on the 1st of October.

In a recent blog post, the publisher revealed that the beta for the highly anticipated shooter will be available to play in beta on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC four weeks before it officially launches.

Last month at Gamescom, Electronic Arts confirmed a full list of expansion packs that will be launching for Battlefield 4 along with when they will be released.

Battlefield 4 officially launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on  the 1st of November in Europe, the 29th of October in North America and the 31st of October in Australia.

The Xbox One version will be available on the 21st of November in Europe and 19th of November in North America, with the PlayStation 4 version launching on the 29th of November in Europe and the 12th of November in North America.
