Open to all: after this year’s WildCard campaign and the exclusive PreSale, the gamescom Ticket Shop is open to all as of now. And securing your gamescom ticket early on makes twice the sense this year. Because interest in this year’s gamescom from 5-9 August is unabated. Day tickets are therefore only available for all days as long as supplies last. What’s more, during the early bird period until 30.04.2015 all tickets will be offered at last year’s price. Interested private visitors can purchase the tickets with immediate effect at www.gamescom-cologne.com . They can only be paid for by PayPal or credit card. The tickets are also valid for a journey on the Rhine-Sieg Transport Network (VRS) and the Rhine-Ruhr Transport Network (VRR)

In 2014 as well, all of the day tickets were completely sold out during the presales phase. So anyone wanting to make sure of their gamescom ticket had better be quick. Special early bird conditions apply until 30.04.2015 with tickets at last year’s prices. Holders of a valid gamescom day ticket will also enjoy benefit from admission at the exclusive private visitors’ entrance (Hall 11). Anyone wishing to purchase their day ticket in the gamescom online Ticket Shop after the deadline will be offered any available tickets at new prices. The general principle is: day tickets are only available for all days as long as supplies last. Day tickets will only be sold at the box office if the day tickets aren’t already sold out after the advance ticket sale period.

For families: quota of family tickets via KölnTicket This year gamescom is expanding its offering for families and young people with ‘family&friends’ (Hall 10.2) and creating a new area specially tailored to these target groups, with offerings featuring a shared experience of interactive adventures and parental information on all digital games-related matters. Once again this year, this will be accompanied by a ticket allocation just for families. It targets parents and their children aged between 7 and 11 years (valid for a maximum of five people, no more than two of them adults). The family tickets are exclusively offered during the presales phase and only as long as stocks last. Interested parties can purchase this admission ticket in the form of vouchers exclusively via KölnTicket, they are not available in gamescom online Ticket Shop. The tickets are issued at gamescom after the family composition has been checked. To make sure the admission process is as stress-free as possible and to allow direct access to the family&friends hall and other family-friendly exhibits in Hall 10, we recommend families to use the Entrance South.

gamescom 2015: strong brands participating After a spectacular gamescom 2014 with over 700 exhibitors and 335,000 visitors, once again this year trade and private visitors can again look forward to an exceptional gamescom. Already at this early stage numerous international market leaders and well-known companies have confirmed their participation in the world’s biggest event for interactive entertainment, including Bethesda, Bigpoint, Crytek, Deep Silver (Koch Media), ELECTRONIC ARTS, Konami, Microsoft, Nintendo, Oculus, SQUARE ENIX, Turtle Entertainment, UBISOFT, Wargaming and Warner Bros., To name but a few. Not least because of the very good registration situation, the organisers are again anticipating high visitor volumes this year.
