GAME Digital plc (“GAME” or “the Group”) is pleased to announce the appointments of Mark Gifford as Group Chief Financial Officer and Suzie Carr as Group HR Director.

Mark is currently Chief Financial Officer of House of Fraser, a role he has held since 2007 having joined the company as Director of Finance in 2002. A qualified accountant, Mark has also held senior finance roles at First Choice, the leading UK travel company including Finance Director – First Choice Retail. Mark will report directly to Martyn Gibbs, GAME Digital’s Chief Executive Officer, taking over from Benedict Smith who, as previously announced, will be leaving the business at the end of July.

Suzie Carr joins the Group from Liberty Global, where she most recently held the role of Global Talent and Corporate HR Director following their acquisition of Virgin Media in 2013. Previous roles for Virgin Media included Head of Talent, Performance and Engagement, Head of Employee Engagement and Experience, and Senior HR Strategic Business Partner. Before this Suzie held HR roles in the NHS and Sainsbury’s. Suzie will also report directly to Martyn Gibbs.

Suzie is joining the team in August 2015 and Mark will join the Board of GAME Digital as a director and CFO in October 2015.
