Today Maximum Games revealed their partnership with virtual reality development company, Untold Games, to launch the virtual action/adventure title, Loading Human.  The game is being developed for a Spring 2016 VR platform release. The game will be previewed beginning next Tuesday, June 16, at the Maximum Games booth at E3 – South Hall #2800.

Loading Human is a sci-fi journey wherein you play as the son of an aging scientist who has summoned you to his Arctic base for an intensive intergalactic assignment: retrieve the Quintessence, a mysterious energy source found in deep space.

The game, which began as an Untold Games’ Kickstarter project in 2014, is being published by Maximum Games.  Upon viewing the game in its infant stages at Game Connection 2014, Maximum Games saw its enormous potential, and has now given the title full backing to get it to market.

“This game is a significant step in the world of virtual reality,” said Christina Seelye, CEO of Maximum Games. “In Loading Human, players are completely immersed in a beautiful alternate world, interacting with the environments around them, and allowing the story to unfold by the actions they take.”

Indeed, Loading Human invites players to live the adventure. While in the game, players will hear the thoughts of the main character, explore multiple locations, and even see their own rendered legs, torso, and shoulders as they move around within the various locales. Running on the Unreal 4 engine, Loading Human is graphically stunning and has a fluidity that adds to the game’s realism.

One of the main objectives for Flavio Parenti, CEO of Untold Games, was to build a game that felt like an escape into a mysterious, yet emotionally real world. “We want gamers to experience the storyline in a very interactive and absorbing way,” said Parenti. “There is a feeling of getting lost in the game, so that you actually forget you are playing and, instead, are simply living the story.”
