ESL One at New York Super Week Viewership Numbers

Last weekend the Theater at Madison Square Garden once again played host to the East Coast’s largest Dota 2 esports competition, hosted by ESL, ReedPOP and Twitch. Peak concurrent viewership doubled from last year as VEGA Squadron caused upset upon upset, knocking out the winners of the US$18 million “The International” competition to sail into first place.

Year-on-year growth was significant across the board, with unique online viewership rising from 2.1 million to 2.6 million, whilst attendee numbers grew by more than 30%.

Relive some of the best moments through the VODs on YouTube, snapshots of the event on Flickr.

Thank you for being a part of ESL One at New York Super Week. On behalf of the ESL team: we hope to see you again soon!

Maybe in California’s SAP Center? Next up we’ll be taking the Intel Extreme Masters to San Jose (November 21-22) for world-class League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive action.
