From September 16–18, PGL Tavern Tales will return to DreamHack Bucharest! This will be the final edition of 2016, and will once again sport a $25,000 prize pool.

After a successful spring run in February – won by Romanian player Marius “xTrackyStyle” Nistor – the PGL Tavern Tales crown is ready to be passed on. Competing for glory will be 16 top card-slingers, who will travel to Bucharest to take part in a three-day LAN event.

Some of the best players from around the world will receive invitations to the tournament, with two wildcard spots available for local qualifiers.

Prize pool breakdown

• 1^st place: $8,000
• 2^nd place: $4,000
• 3^rd place: $3,000
• 4^th place: $2,000
• 5^th – 8^th: $1,000 each
• 9^th – 16^th: $500 each

The PGL Bucharest Tavern Tales 2016 matches will use a Best of 5, Last-Hero Standing format. But there’s a twist! Attendees will each have to bring all 9 classes to the battle.
