Pimp Requests A Transfer From Liquid

Comment

Pimp has officially requested to be transferred from Team Liquid and negotiations have begun.

Pimp will move to an active substitute role on Team Liquid while negotiations are underway.

Team Liquid said in a statement: “During his time with us, Pimp played admirably and was a valuable teammate. ESL One: New York will stand as the highlight of our time together as we barged out of the groups by defeating Fnatic twice ultimately reaching the semi-finals. Pimp was integral to that success, and we will always remember his clutch to earn us match point on Dust II.”

Pimp also commented: “It’s with mixed feeling of sadness and excitement that I will no longer be a part of the Team Liquid starting roster. I no longer feel that playing for Liquid fulfills my personal expectations & goals, nor do I feel I can provide the commitment necessary to continue with the team on a long term basis.

It has been a great ride and an experience I would not trade for anything in the world. I am not done as a player by any means, and I am actively looking for another team with a vision similar to mine. I want to take this time to thank Liquid for everything they’ve done and provided for me, a life experience I wouldn’t be without!”

The Team Liquid Founder and Co-Owner Victor “Nazgul” Goossens had this to say: “Replacing a player of Pimp’s caliber is not easy, but we are working hard to find someone that will enable our CS:GO squad to compete at the highest international level – our coaching staff and management is diligently pursuing top tier talent, and we will update the CSGO community as our search progresses.”

“A huge thank you to our fans for your continued support and please help us in bidding a warm farewell to Pimp.”
