PENTA Sports have today announced that they have picked up the former ALTERNATE team, recently using the name Berzerk.

The German team have been on the prowl for a new organisation for about two months after being dropped from ALTERNATE.

Despite this setback, Berzerk continued to play competitively and finished third in their DreamHack Summer group behind NiP and Epsilon.

The German EPS Summer is about to kick off with the group stages and after being picked up by PENTA Sports, who are known for their professional League of Legends and FIFA 14 divisions, former team Berzerk will be going in on a high.

“As you all know, everything that could possibly have gone wrong for us, went wrong,” Azmican “asmo” Berberoglu told PENTA Sports’ website.

“During this season, we performed worse than ever before. Nevertheless, we came across an organization that believes in us and gives us their trust.

“That is why we would like to sincerely thank everyone at PENTA Sports for giving us this opportunity to prove ourselves and our sponsors.”
