ESEA Season 17 Has a $78,000 Prize Pool

ESEA has announced that it will give away $78,000 (£47,000) across its CS:GO divisions in Europe and North America.

Season 17 of ESEA is already taking place in both Europe and in North America, but the league organisers have just started announcing details about the global LAN finals, that will see the top teams from each region battle it out against each other.

Last week, ESEA confirmed that the LAN finals will once again be played at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Dallas November 21st to the 23rd, and that the tournament will be preceded by the Invite All-Star game.

ESEA have now come out and announced that they will be allocating a $78,000 prize pool for CS:GO, with $47,500 (£29,000) once again going exclusively to the global division, distributed in the following way:

1. – $20,000 (£12,000)
2. – $6,000 (£3,600)
3. – $4,500 (£2,700)
4. – $4,000 (£2,700)
5-6. – $3,500 (£2,100)
5-6. – $3,500 (£2,100)
7-8. – $3,000 (£1,800)
7-8. – $3,000 (£1,800)

The rest of the prize purse will go to the other divisions (premier, main, intermediate and open in North America, main, intermediate and open in Europe) that ESEA is also hosting.
