IEM will add an additional event to its circuit this year, ESL has announced.

The tournament will feature a ~$200,000 ($260,000AUD) prize pool in Sydney, Australia.

Taking place at the Qudos Bank Arena from May 6th to May 7th the tournament will kick off the 12th season of IEM.

SK Gaming and Renegades have both been invited to the tournament with more invites set to be sent out in the coming weeks.
