ASUS have announced the ASUS ROG Winter 2019 CS:GO event featuring a ~$14,300 in prize money.
The event will take place during the Assembly Winter 2019 festival at the Helsinki Exhibition and Convention Centre on the weekend of February 1-2. The format will feature a single-elimination, best-of-3 playoffs bracket.
The event has been limited to six participants in a bid to bring each match to the stage, making for an easier viewing experience for both the audience on-site and those watching at home.
Two of the six participants will be decided via open qualifiers only available to Finnish teams. The remaining four slots will be filled by teams issued direct invites to the event.
