LCS (NA LCS) & LEC (EU LCS) Viewers Guide

Comment

Both the NA LCS and EU LCS have rebranded with the NA LCS taking the full LCS title and the EU LCS now being called the LEC or the League of Legends European Championship.

As always you can watch the LCS and LEC on the Riot Games Twitch channel. The LCS and LEC will be featured on Friday, Saturday and Sundays in a league format where every team plays each other twice, then progresses to a playoff bracket and then a grand final.

The LEC starts on January 18th with the classic match of 2018 Summer Champions Fnatic vs SK Gaming. The most interesting storyline in the LEC this season will be the battle between Fnatic and G2 Esports. We’ve seen Fnatic’s star mid laner Caps move to G2 this season and he will be seeking revenge on the 9th February when the two teams play.

The NA LCS will return on the 26th January with a rematch of the last split’s grand final, Cloud9 vs Team Liquid. Much like Fnatic and G2 this match up sees Cloud9’s former mid laner, Jensen, play his former team.

Viewers of the LCS will be spoiled on the first day; after Cloud9 vs Team Liquid we see TSM vs 100 Thieves where two time world champion Bang will make his LCS debut for 100 Thieves.
