2. Forza Motorsport 5

Recently released this racing game takes the new Xbox One to it’s limits. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay equally as amazing and the amount of time you will spend playing this can be embarrassing for the casual gamer. Definitely a must get for this Christmas.

3. Super Mario 3D World

Platform: Wii U

Super Mario, a classic, a game where no matter how old you are you’re going to love it. This is the only game in our top 5 that takes advantage of the Wii U. Nintendo really can’t go wrong with yet another Super Mario game. This is the perfect game for the younger gamer.

4. Grand Theft Auto V

Platform: Xbox 360, PS3

The most successful game of the year in our eyes has yet to be released on the PC and next-gen consoles, however we feel it might be released for these before Christmas. Despite this, it is still worth getting for the 360 and PS3. No matter who you’re buying this game for, providing they don’t have it already, it will be a great choice.

5. Battlefield 4

Platform: Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, PS3

Battlefield 4 is the latest addition to the Battlefield franchise and has taken the FPS sub-genre by storm. It has smashed Call of Duty Ghosts out of the water in our eyes. It looks better, it feels better and isn’t a complete copy of the previous version. Battlefield 4 is the game to get for the FPS lover.
